TimesToCome began as a hobby in Dec. 1997. It went through a major overhaul in 2000. But by 2007 it had become so unwieldy it had to be broken apart and modernized. TimesToCome now exists across several websites:

Each one focused on a different hobby of mine. TimesToCome is the original domain and contains my personal blog, most of my photography and odds and ends that weren’t big enough for their own websites.

About me:

I was born and raised south of Boston and just recently moved to the Houston area. Things sure are different down here. I have a Master of Science Degree in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in both Computer Science and Physics.

I’m a member of The Woodlands Garden Club and The Herb Gardeners of Montgomery County. I am currently taking the Master Gardener Classes in Conroe. I hope to learn tons of cool things and have lots more really good information to share as I earn my Master Gardener’s Certificate.

This site started as a way for me to keep notes as I learned about gardening in Houston. That’s still its main purpose. I had such a difficult time finding good information on plants and gardening down here. So I decided to put up my notes to share that information with anyone else who might be interested. I am really enjoying growing all these exotic plants and photographing them.
