I tried these once before but the drought did them in. These came from the Mercer March Mart sale this year.
Plants can reach 2′ in height, I’ve not seen them above ~16″. Mine bloomed in July. I had planted them in March and gave them a dose of fairly high in phosphorus fertilizer in April.
Grow them in moist soil and dappled shade.
Species orchid native to China in humid low land forests. First mention of them is in 1799 by a Swedish botanist.
Propagate by division.
