Scientists have created tomatoes that contain anthocyanin from snap dragons. Anthocyanin is the chemical that makes blackberries and cranberries dark colored and believed responsible for many of the health benefits of those berries.
By adding this to the already nutritious tomato they hope to get more nutrition into less food.
