The three day freeze of 2010 browned about a quarter of the leaves on this plant, but otherwise it looks unscathed.

This plant rapidly spreads in wet areas. Be prepared to dig some up and give them away each spring. The roots are shallow, it’s much like digging up hostas.

It’s blooming now and has been for several weeks.

This plant is fine now. It bloomed prolifically in the spring. The rest of the year it’s just leaves.

It is slowly creeping out from the center. I dug up a few to pass on late spring.

I am surprised at this plants reaction to the cold. Most of the leaves are brown on the 1/3 closest to the end.

I’m sure it’ll be fine since it has wintered over here before.

This one is probably worth covering we have a frost warning.
